| On July 21, 2010, my incredible 15 year old blue merle Aussie, Kali, passed away from the ravages of old age. She died peacefully in my arms but left a huge hole in my heart. I faced not only the loss of my dear friend, but the depression of my remaining Aussie girl, ten year old Maggie. It was difficult to watch Maggie grieve for her lifelong friend, so I got busy searching for a canine companion for all of us. I FOUND HIM.....a beautiful Sheltie male. Quinn settled in like he had been here all of his life, and was able to fill the void that Kali had left. He has already earned his Canine Good Citizen title and has begun his agility training....this beautiful boy loves to please. |

I keep busy these days: I began quilting after discovering a local quilt shop. Next came a small group of ladies that get together once a month to laugh and work on projects. The door to doll making opened for me and I continue to learn new techniques from experienced doll makers, and am also learning the joys of working with polymer clay. Life is good getting together with friends, weekly volunteering at the local hospital where I had my knee replacement surgery, keeping 'in touch' on Facebook, and taking my canine pal, Quinn, to training classes.
This
page is dedicated to some of the Morgan Horses I owned during 25+ years.
They are out of my life, but always in my heart. I miss the girls.

In memory of Max (1995-2003) and Kali (1995-2010).
Remarkable Buddies are my canine pals. Over the years I've had
some phenomenal pets in my life, and I am dedicating this page to them.
